Today I made one of our favorite healthy snacks.
Here's the recipe for Oatmeal Cookies with Chocolate Morsels and Toasted Pecans
1 C. old fashioned rolled oats
1 t. ground cinnamon
1/4 t. sea salt
1 C. unsweetened applesauce
1/4 C. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/4 C. chopped raw pecans, toasted
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Lightly coat baking sheet.
3. Combine oats, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl. Mix well.
4. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto baking sheet and flatten with a spatula.
5. Bake 14-16 minutes until firm.

I discovered that our dog, Happy, likes these treats, too! She managed to snag one before I took them off the baking sheet.
